Mention ‘Huck Gee’ and collectors immediately think of his signature take on the Japanese Feudal period with his Samurai, Ninja and Geisha. That thought is quickly followed by his detailed limited-edition customs which have consistently sold out nearly instantaneously for as long as this blogger can remember. Huck’s ‘11/10’ delivers the artist’s very best in a four-night exhibition at the Toy Art Gallery in LA delivers the artist’s very best.
The title tells all. It turns out that Huck has been cleverly creating an extra for piece of each of his edition of 10 hand-done custom offerings. By offering these 11/10 pieces, Huck will unleash a sweet retrospective featuring nearly 50 customs on display and available for purchase – the last chance to pick up long gone custom gems. And oh yes, the show opens on Thursday November 10th @ 7 PM.
In addition to the retrospective, show will feature an exclusive edition of the Kabuki and Kitsune Gold Life 2-pack, limited to just 200 pieces. The show will also feature a pre-release (200 available copies) of Huck’s first full-length art volume, ‘The Art of Huck Gee’ from Presto Publishing.
