While HK vinyl toy pioneer Michael Lau is best known for his Gardener series, his Crazy Children series is quite popular as well. With a renewed focus on 1:6 figures and to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Crazy Children, Lau is set to release a 12” version of the iconic CC King (aka Child ‘F’) from the 2nd CC series. Beyond its bad-ass appearance, CC King is interesting because the character represents an obssessed Michael Lau figure, content yet challenged by his unrelenting collecting. The new, larger version recreates the intricate detail of the OG vinyl including the throne made of crazy children boxes, the crown, cape, and miniature Crazymichael figure. The 12” Crazy Children King will be available from September 29th to October 9th via crazysmiles.com for HK$3300 (~$423).
