Shane Jessup’s newly announced Hachi Supply brand is focused on producing an artful line of products for dogs manufactured in Los Angeles (right on), starting with leashes and collars and eventually expanding into dog bowls, ID tags, harnesses and more. Named for Hachiko, a Japanese dog revered as an icon of canine loyalty, the brand will release two seasonal collections per year. Things get going with the Fall ‘11 line debuting in September with leashes and collars from Tristan Eaton, James Marshall (Dalek), Dustin Hostetler (UPSO), and TADO. Each collection will also feature a collaboration with a like-minded brand.
Hachi loves dogs. Not only are they making stylish products for dogs but they are also supporting various efforts to improve their well being including sponsoring pet adoption drives as well as donating money to support no-kill animal shelters.
