Venezuelan artist Carlos Enriquez Gonzáles has earned a following by creating wild, thought provoking fiberglass sculptures that run the gamut from cartoon inspired pieces to wholly original creations featuring monsters and eclectic creatures. In a move that’s bound to make his art more accessible, Carlos is working with Gino Joukar’s new label Tagtoys on his first ever vinyl, Hierophany. Limited to ten pieces hand-painted and signed by Carlos himself, the new 10” figure continues his exploration of the meaning of life and feminine power. This high-end artful offering includes four interchangeable accessories offering a variety of interpretations.
Hierophany will be released at the Red Carpet Kaiju opening this Saturday, September 4th (7-11 PM) @ the Toy Art Gallery. Carlos will be making a rare trip to the states to attend the opening of this loaded group exhibition. As a cool bonus, the gallery will raffle off one of the Hierophany figures to a lucky attendee.
