Becky Dreistadt @ Switcheroo (7.31)

 

Switcheroo will host painter/illustrator Becky Dreistadt for a special one-night show this Saturday, July 31st 2010 (7-10 PM).  Becky’s been slaving away in the Switcheroo Sweatshop on paintings and several custom toys. She’s also collaborated with both Amanda Visell and Michelle Valigura on some work as well. 

I reinstated my all-access pass and dropped by yesterday to see the work in person and bring back some juicy exclusive pics. And yes,  it’s a cliche, but when it’s true it’s true – Becky’s art needs to be seen in person to be truly appreciated – so clean and vibrant.  Her Munnys are really nice – in fact they seem production ready to us (though yes, they’d have to be made into Dunnys…).   So if you happen to have a weakness for super cute, charming art – plan to drop by the Switcheroo Workshop.
