Buff Monster – Web Exclusive Plush (7.28)
Fresh off of the SDCC debut of his new plush figures, Buff Monster will release his light-pink cyclopian Web Exclusive plush (ed. of 200, $20) on Wednesday, July 28th @ 10 AM PDT from his web shop. The pink one’s new plush figures are quite nice. Larger than its vinyl predecessors, the plush has a good presence straddling the line between small and medium size. From the ‘feet’ to the round bulbous body, the plush is a nice soft, squishy translation of Buff’s character.
In addition to the new exclusive plush, Buff Monster is dropping his collaborative ‘Eye of the Serpent’ print created with Brian Ewing. This is a re-working of the Faith No More Print ($75). Finally, Buff’s new clear playing cards round out the drop trio ($20).

Doktor A – 2nd Teaser of Upcoming Toy from Pobber
Doktor A teased us several months ago with a teeny brain sculpt. He’s revealing a bit more now of the new figure coming from new brand, Pobber. Honestly we’re slightly more puzzled with this 2nd teaser, even though we can see more of the figure. Dok also sent along this “teaser word” – Mooncalf. Hmm…. Perhaps this is the bottom half of the figure and the brain will be connected to the top part of the ‘head’… Or it’s something different altogether. This one will drop towards the end of the year. Look for more pics + info soon.
Paul Kaiju @ SDCC
It has been a big year for Paul Kaiju so far, with many more things to come. During PK’s time at the Global Figure Symposium booth, he dropped a lot of amazing stuff. That includes his first ever sculpt to vinyl figure, the Boss Carrion. He also surprised us with a magnetic trunk and foot, which held onto one of his Biter figures. The HP Boss’ were just amazing and it was a shame that I was tapped out to pick one up. He also exhibited some painted tree sculpts and Funguy, and not to mention his custom collaboration with Big Plastic Toys. To many things to talk about, just look at the pics.

Uamou @ SDCC
Ayako Takagi, the artist behind Uamou attended this years SDCC at the Global Figure Symposium booth. She had tons of Uamou figures available and even displayed some customs that other folks have done for her. One of the most rad pieces at her table were the Goto-San hand painted Uamou Fortune cats. We also cannot forget the sketch she did for us! Thanks again Ayako!

Sucklord @ SDCC
It was the Sucklords turn at the Global Figure Symposium booth and he brought some of his bootleg goods with him. We cannot forget the choice of newspaper ads Sucklord used to cover the table to protect it from the spray paint. Not to mention the fumes that was coming out of that booth as well.
