909toy Eggcore Rabbit Sales – Last opportunity
In the hustle and bustle of SDCC news, we lost track of updating you on the 909toy Eggcore Rabbit sales. This hyper-detailed piece is being offered in a three day sale (7.23 – 7.25) @ 9AM – 11 AM HK from the 909toy online store. Since HK is basically a half-day ahead of the USA, there’s one sale period left – Saturday, July 24th @ 6 PM PDT. There’s a specific allocation per day :
Black & White Classic (30 pcs per day, $98 + s/h)
Black Gold (10 pcs per day, $128 + s/h)
Wood Limited (3 pcs per day, $258 + s/h).
Set of all 3 + blank ($500)
To add to the excitement, two lucky customers purchasing the Black and White edition will actually receive the rarer Black Gold edition while one extremely fortunate collector will receive the Wood Limited edition. So even if you can’t directly afford the rarer edition pieces, you still have a chance of getting one. Very cool. SDCC: Sucklord -- New Bootleg Dumny
Ran into the mysterious Sucklord and he was peddling his new SDCC exclusive Dumny. Poor Vectar -- he does all the work and Mr. Suck grabs all the shine.
SDCC: Toyqube 5" Sharky Proto
DKE is showing a painted proto of Keith Poon's new 5" Sharky coming from Toyqube. This new smaller piece looks to swim in the wake of his quite popular bigger brother.
SDCC: Circus Posterous Event
On Thursday, Super7 welcomed Circus Posterous artists Kathie Olivas, Brandt Peters, Chris Ryniak, and Travis Louie for a special release / signing event. A dizzying number of special releases including the Shadow Skelve, Masao Skelve, Two Freyjas and some sweet customs including colorful mini-skelves. Lots of super low-run resin eye candy.

SDCC: Munky King’s Omi Unmasked Party Recap
After the MINDstyle party, people made their way over to the nearby Bar Basic for Munky King’s annual SDCC bash. This year’s ‘Omi Unmasked’ edition celebrated the release of MK’s brand new Omi project unveiling and release. Collectors got a chance to experience Omi first-hand with DIY Omi figures included in the complimentary goodie bags. Four Omi artists Dave Flores, Yoskay Yamamoto, Joe Ledbetter and Angry Woebots (S2) showcased their skills with a group live-painting session featuring Omi-shaped canvases. As in previous years, Bar Basic was packed with artists, industry types and collectors. Vinyl Pulse was proud to sponsor this year’s party – we quietly inserted five Vinyl Pulse exclusive ‘Angry’ Stitches by Angry Woebots into the goodie bags. Who got ‘em ?

SDCC: MINDstyle’s Pound for Pound Party Recap
Thursday night @ SDCC was filled with parties including MINDstyle’s Pound for Pound party @ Bar Ninety celebrating the release of the new Philippines Edition Manny Pacquiao and Bloc28 Mad Mickey ATC figures. Noted artists, industry pros and collectors unwound after a busy day while enjoying complimentary Ciroc Vodka and appetizers.

SDCC: Scott Tolleson – Otis and Otto Exclusive Colorways
Scott Tolleson debuted his new mini Otis and Otto figure set at SDCC and also revealed two additional editions which are apparently exclusives. The packaging nicely compliments the figure design. Very nice.
SDCC: Jeff Soto’s Seeker on Friday
Hi-Fructose will release their exclusive Ghost Seeker by Jeff Soto Friday morning @ SDCC. Hit the booth first thing in the morning for a number. The figure comes with a print and will be available for $140 (50 of 100 will be available @ SDCC, the others are reserved for a complete set of all the Seeker editions). Jeff will be signing at 11 AM.
SDCC: Dead Presidents x Max Toy Minis
STRANGEco is showing two new hand-painted series from Max Toy and Dead President Designs : Captain Maxx Minis ($30) and the Karma Boy series ($35). Very nice. Basically hand-painted production pieces. Both series will be available in September.
SDCC: Jesse Hernandez – Mictlan Proto
Jesse Hernandez got into Comic-Con on Thursday and brought along the final painted proto of his new Mictlan figure in production from Kuso Vinyl. Excellent – looking forward to this one. Jesse will be signing on Friday @ 3 PM in the Dragatomi booth (#3848) for the release of the OG Ozomahtli from Bic Plastics.

SDCC: Amanda Visell's Seahorse on Display
The OG Seahorse vinyl from Amanda Visell and Paradise Toyland is on display at DKE. If you look closely you will see that it is segmented/articukated at the upper third and lower third from interesting posing possibilities.

Rotofugi offered a pre-order for the new edition of Coarse's False Friends figures. Limited to 88 pcs this one runs $498. The duo was on-hand to sing for their fans.
SDCC: Tokidoki -- Royal Pride Minis on Display
Tokidoki is showing protos of two new figures from the soon to drop Royal Pride mini series featuring twelve characters. Is that a sub machine gun ?!?!

NTF is also showing an unpainted proto of their new Sympathy for the Record Industry follow-up figure complete with rifle.

DKE is showing an unpainted proto coming from Long Gone John's Necessaries Toy Foundation. Looks like Coop's mickey pill is making the jump to 3D.
SDCC: Dunny 2010 Preview
Kidrobot is giving collectors an early look at Dunny 2010. Releasing on August 19th, the series includes several new sculpts including for the Kozik piece, Hernandez, Visell and more. In fact the torso is revised with slight dimples in the feet for stability. Love the triclops one with the sculptured exposed brain.
