Noferin – SDCC Exclusive Jibibuts in Black
For this year’s SDCC, Noferin has created an exclusive J.I.B. couples set. Limited to just 25 sets, the Jibibuts in Black sets feature hand-painted, signed and dated (nice touch) male and female figures as well as a signed and dated limited-edition print. While there’s no word on their alien busting skills, we do know they are pretty cute and look sharp as well. Pick up your J.I.B.’s for a rather reasonable $50 (both figures + print) at the DKE Toys SDCC booth (#4732).

Shepard Fairey – Mr. Spray
STRANGEco has just announced that their eagerly awaited Shepard Fairey project, Mr. Spray, is now available for pre-order and will be released in July. The 11” vinyl figure gives 3D form to Fairey’s 2004 character which was inspired by advertising characters from the 1950’s.
Mr. Spray will be available in four editions – Black (350 pieces), Red (350 pieces), Gold (200 pieces, Obey Exclusive), and Silver (100 pieces, STRANGEco Special Edition). Each Mr. Spray ships with an OBEY mini stencil, honoring Fairey’s ubiquitous tool of choice. The black and red editions are available for pre-order now for $84.99 each through STRANGEco’s online shop and will shortly be available from retailers. The Silver edition will be available at SDCC (booth #4629) and through STRANGEco’s online shop. Expect more on the silver edition release as we get closer to SDCC. Details on the Gold OBEY Special edition have yet to be released.
We’re happy that arguably the most popular street artist today now has an art toy which represents his aesthetic and tradition. The sculptural detail in the face is quite nice and makes the figure, along with the obey mini-stencil. While the standard editions are nice, the silver and gold are a step above. Finally, it’s good to see a new release from STRANGEco.

Munky King’s Omi Debuts @ SDCC
Omi. Once shrouded in complete secrecy (blood oaths, self-destructing protos, electronic locators and more), Munky King’s new art toy vision is set to debut @ SDCC. Here's the first look at Omi, teaser style. More info shortly. Expect the unexpected.
Finally, if you’re going to be at SDCC this year, be sure to attend the Omi Unmasked party (7.22, flier) sponsored by Munky King, Silent Stage, Vannen, Bubble Punch and Vinyl Pulse.
