Toy2R and Spaghetti Project will present ‘The Civil War and our Founding Fathers’ show on July 10th 2010 @ 5 PM, featuring artist interpretations of the American Civil War on 8” Qees. This announcement caught us off guard – very interesting theme for a show, definitely stands out from the frequent announcements of rather vanilla custom shows. That said, with such a large group of artist (50), the theme might result in several very similar designs – union, confederate, Abraham Lincoln. Definitely curious to see what transpires.
The customs will be auctioned and 20% of the proceeds will be donated to Our Military Kids, a charity which benefits the children of deployed and severely injured Reserve and National Guard personnel. Definitely a worthy and appropriate cause.
