Marka27 - ‘Africano Minigod’ for Movers and Shakers II (5.21)

Here’s a look at Marka27’s ‘Africano Minigod’ Audio Canvas created for the upcoming high profile Movers and Shakers II group show opening on May 21st 2010 @ Ronin Gallery in Silver Lake.  Measuring 24” x 36”, Africano Minigod was created with acrlyics and enamels on wood and features two working speakers (above the eyes).  Great work from Marka  featuring a strong mixture of loose and tight rendering approaches.  The minigod looks fierce and the geometrics in the background and around the neck and eyes are a really nice touch.
