Circus Posterus has officially announced the first edition of the Brandt Peters Skelve Resin. The initial OG edition will be handpainted by Brandt and Kathie Olivas. Twelve of the total run of 66 pieces will be available for Brandt and Kathie’s joint show, Living Between Worlds, which opens on April 2nd, 2010 @ Gallery 1988 Los Angles. The remaining 54 will drop online at a later date. Be sure to sign-up for the Circus Posterus mailing list for the up-to-the-minute word.
This first Skelve looks great – the hand-painted Skull (and stitching) really make the piece. And in our opinion at just under 10”, the $150 price is right as well. Expect several future Skelves including guest artist editions.
