Ron English – X-Ray MC Supersized 2nd & 3rd Editions
Secret Base has released two follow-on editions to the initial OG color Ron English x Toy Tokyo x Secret Base X-Ray MC Supersized figures. The 2nd edition features a purple/green/white color scheme with what looks like a white/green internal skeleton. The 3rd edition rocks an almost OG black/yellow/white color palette with a white/yellow skeleton. In all honesty, we’re not quite sure when these dropped though we assume it was recently. These are available from Secret Base directly and Armth (though this route requires a Japanese shopping proxy service) [Sources: Freshness + Armth]

Muffinman’s Clamshell’s Soup Bramble WWRp Custom
We’ve seen a few impressive WWR customs, but this Bramble WWRp custom by Muffinman from the ThreeA forums is probably the best yet. First off, the can of soup ‘joke is great and works perfectly. Second and perhaps equally importantly is the executation. An idea can be great but it’s just that if the execution is lacking. Not here at all. From the ‘surgery’ to the paint – this one looks like a weathered can of soup off to wage battle. Awesome – so much so that you might be fooled into thinking it’s a special production edition.

Doktor A’s Gyroscopic Non-Ornamental Mechanised Excavator
Doktor A’s upcoming Gyroscopic Non-Ornamental Mechanised Exacvator (7.5”+) is in the works from newcomer Raje Toys. This steampunk Gnome has a surprised under his removable hat, a sharp mechanized drill bit – all the better to bore into the earth with. The figure is based on Raje’s basic vinyl platform body though Dok has swapped out nearly all the parts save the torso. As you can see in the turnarounds, the figure has all of Dok’s victorian steampunk mojo despite the use of that one standardized part. Hit the jump for a look at Dok’s intial sketched design. Also, head on over to Spookypop where Doc is running a series of articles about the development of this figure.
Robotics Industries Dr. Brain, the first upcoming release from Raje, also uses the brand’s platform-like body. [Seen on Dok A’s Spookypop]

Robotic Industries – Dr. Brain
Dr. Brain designed by Robotics Industries (Jim Freckingham) is the first vinyl project from the newly formed UK-based Raje Toys founded by Richard Emms, Adam Boreham, Jim Freckingham and Eddie Deighton. The concept for the upcoming 7.5” vinyl figure was first seen in one of Jim’s custom Munnys. It’s a little hard to tell in the above render, but the figure will have a translucent clear tank containing the ever-important-brain. The figure is expected to drop in May for $59.95 and will be available in two colorways – standard (450 pcs) and chase (50 pcs).
Dr. Brain is the first figure to use Raje’s platform-ish body concept. The ‘body’ will serve as the basis or starting point for several upcoming artist projects. Some projects including Doktor A’s Gyroscopic Non-Ornamental Mechanised Excavator (GNOME) will swap out some of the standard parts in lieu of design-specific ones. Very cool idea which balances artistic and business concerns.
Here’s a hearty welcome to Raje Toys. We’re looking forward to their upcoming lineup.

Ashley Wood x 3A – Little Shadow Steps Out (3.18)
There’s about a day and a half left until Ashley Wood and 3A drop Little Shadow, the 2nd 1:6 figure in the Adventure Kartel series. That means Ashley Wood collectors are flexing their itchy mouse clicking fingers and also means the best look at Little Shadow yet. Miss Shadow drops tomorrow, March 18th @ 6 PM Pacific from Bambaland for $80 and includes sneaks as well as heels. This is a Bamabland exclusive, no retail – so if you want it the 18th is the day.
