Nathan Jurevicius has just lifted the lid on his Peleda owls in Metal, a collaboration with the metal wizards at Fully Visual. You might remember that Nathan originally released the Peleda owls as motorized walking minis from Toy Tokyo awhile back. Now they’re back in 3” metal figures in three separate drops (7 figs total) dropping in Feb, March and April. Very stylish – Metal feels like an ideal medium for Nathan’s retro designs.
Set A drops this Friday, February 26th @ 11 AM PDT from the Fully Visual store and features two different owls in Black Nickel and Brass finishes. Each figure is $40. March will see Set B with two additional sculpts with antiqued silver and copper finishes, again for $40 per figure . The series will conclude with Set C in April featuring three different designs. More to come on that one. As a bonus, collectors purchasing all seven figures will receive a handmade wooden display stump – a great idea as minis can be challenging to show off well.
