We first teased this project about a month ago and now are brining you the very first complete look at Marka27’s upcoming 8” Half Dead Buddy, the first production 8” Bic Buddy design. Caught in limbo between the land of the living and the land of the dead, this luchador figure sports a strong design which flaunts impressive printing, particularly in terms of the alignment of the two halves. In particular, the tattoo work on the living side stands out in contrast with the skeletal features of the dead side. Limited to 150 pieces, the Half Dead Buddy will be on display at Bic Plastic’s Toy Fair booth this weekend in NYC and will be released @ the upcoming “Buddy Custom Show” featuring 8” Bic Buddy artist customs in both LA (3.27) and NYC (4.9) for $60 each. Very glad wife sold some of the older Dunnys to make room for the Bic Buddys. Such an awesome platform. Not to mention the quality control was clean. Hope to snag one when they are realeased.
