Robert De Castro – Panzer Ace Painted Samples

Updated: In our late-night blogging stupor, we mistakenly reported that this was a painted resin rather than near-final production samples .

Here’s a look at painted vinyl samples of Robert De Castro’s new Panzer Ace figure in the works from Atomic Mushroom.  While the previous unpainted resin shots  looked great, Panzer Ace looks very sharp in near final form (missing robot skull and crossbones logo on jump pack) with this blue/yellow treatment.   The spray accents are an excellent touch giving the ‘bot a presence it wouldn’t have with flat paint.   This  first colorway of De Castro’s followup to Combat R Zero will be limited to 250 pics and is due early this year.  Lookin’ good.
