Netherland and Chad Kouri @ Rotofugi (1.8)
Rotofugi will present two solo openings – Netherland’s In Stereo and Chad Kouri’s Concotion – this Friday, January 8th from 7-10 PM. Both artists deal from a hand of nostalgic or retro imagery with Kouri’s work focusing on found-art collages and illustrations. In between creating original art, David “Netherland” van Alphen serves as the curator of the Rotofugi gallery. When he’s not collecting copious amounts of “stuff”, Chad Kouri is busy as a member of The Post Family, a Chicago art collective.

Nathan Jurevicius – Sneak Peek of New Scary Girl Minis
To start off 2010, Nathan Jurevicius has revealed the sculpt of his Narwhal Priest, one of the figures in his Scary Girl mini-fig series in the works. Nice details, especially for a mini – love the tusk.
Scribe and Friends – KC Graff Videos
Philip Koening has just released the last three (of 14) videos he shot of Scribe and his cohort painting up Kansas City. In this last drop there’s a video of East doing his thing, Scribe dreaming up a whale with a weakness for cupcakes and a tag-team of Scribe and Jason Brunson working on a pair of Giant Hamsters (above).
