Arkiv Instant x Pot Meets Pop Denim @ Lou Belle

This is the very first collaboration between a local Indonesian Denim Brand and a local toy artist. Not to long ago was the opening reception of the Arkiv Instant x Pop Meets Pop Denim launch at Lou Belle in Bandung, Indonesia. This was the release of some very limited pairs of jeans. There was some live painting going on, as well as some live entertainment. Something that may intrigue many of you collectors was a particular collaboration piece displayed during the show. The figure we are talking about just so happens to be the upcoming collabo figure “The Sumo” from the noggins of Arkiv and Huck Gee. This figure will be produced by Adfunture sometime next year and is limited to only 5 Pieces worldwide. Pictures and info from the event after the jump.

For their Winter ‘09 collection, Pot Meets Pop Denim has teamed up with Indonesian artist, Arkiv to produce a pair of jeans. Arkiv had a strong debut with his first vinyl figurine called "Arkiv Instant", then he redesigned Mickey Mouse for Disney Asia. Taking their slim-fit Super Thaistick cut, the jeans are made from redline selvage denim with basic washed and features Arkiv's painting on the leather patch. Another details in this jeans are the hidden selvage on coin pocket  with  "peek-a-boo" detail, special packaging designed by Arkiv, and each jeans are chopped "ORISINIL ARKIVART!" to prove that this project is officially done by Arkiv himself. Don’t miss this out as it's very limited and each pair jeans is numbered 1 to 70 out of 70 pairs.
