Double Line (Alan Ng) is proving to be a highly imaginative designer with all manners of characters and aesthetics competing for his attention. He showed a large range as part of Boredom Squeezer and continues to do so. He clearly can bring edgy, graphical intensity as seen with his General Zoo Injury edition tour de force. Add quirky cute to the mix with his Mikustars Pup line produced by G999. Creamous – Littles Volume 2
Creamous is taking pre-orders for the Littles Volume 2. Followups to the original Littles resin figures, the three new Littles (~ 3.5”) sport messenger bag-ish accessories instead of the backpacks featured in Volume 1. Each figure (green, blue, red) is limited to 3 pieces and is available for $85.
The Littles bring a refreshing aesthetic – cute if a little timid with a splash of fashion and style. Quite appealing.

Sket One – Helix of Joy for Poster Cause (1.12)
Poster Cause will release Sket One’s Helix of Joy poster (above) on January 12th, 2010 in their online store. Following Poster Cause’s mission of promoting underground art and helping the needy, 50% of the proceeds from the sale of Helix of Joy featuring Sket’s Ripple character will be donated to The National Breast Cancer Foundation. The rumored white Copperhead Squadt has been revealed. This is the third edition of the collab between Kenny Wong and Ferg. The drop date is not set but looks to be in mid-January or Feb [Via Collect and Destroy]. Back to the here and now – the black edition is sold out, though the regular colorway is still availableat the Squadt store.

Rotobox – Char’s Zaku II Celsius Custom
Spencer and Stephen Ong of Rotobox Vinyl Anatomica have dropped their next custom Ganmetall Celsius figure – a tribute to Char’s Zaku II. While both pieces have already sold out, this eye candy really does deserve some stare time. The fit and finish look to be just about perfect. If you’re a Gundam fan, you’re probably already hitting ctrl-s to save these pics. Either way, nice work.

Kaijin – Stitch Exhibition Customs Revisited
No, this isn’t Kaijin Pulse ;-) That said with the firm belief that there’s always room to showcase excellent work, we’re happy to bring you another update on his ongoing exhibition at Stitch. Today we’re looking at several customs of his new Mischief CoCo Devil figure as well as a custom Fulcraim (above). Kaijin is clearly a master of painting toys – whether its the use of metallic sprays and elegant deco for a streamlined look or layered effects to bring out a savage and frenzied vibe, it’s all gorgeous.
