Eslite x Toy2r Qee Series – Toy2R Fonts Bear

Sales_2_5_inch_Qee_Toy2R_Fonts_Bear

As part of the Eslite x Toy2R Qee Saves world exhibition in Taiwan, the two brands have asked top Taiwanese designers and celebrities to create a series of five 2.5” Qees (below). Digging these – visually pleasing.  As a follow-on,  Toy2R has created a special version of the Fonts Bear figure with a full transparent front (the regular ed. has just a transparent head).

Devilrobots x Fewmany – Peck Winter Exhibition (12.21)

photo05

Peck lives.  Several years ago Devilrobots created Peck, a cute bird figure, for the Fewmany boutique in Japan.  Fast forward to 2009 and we have the Peck Winter Exhibition which opened last night (12.21) in Japan.  The group show features custom Pecks from a talented roster of mostly Japanese artists and designers.  From the show setup pics on Fewmany’s site, it looks like most of the artists stuck with the figure’s basic shape – content to paint or add some custom sculpted details.  Gumliens turned their Peck into a retro styled girl doll with a custom torso and a rubber band.

Scribe – Six Time Lapse Graffiti Videos

Scribe cut his teeth painting on walls and he still finds time to paint on the streets of Kansas city.  Phil Koening has been documenting the graffiti of Scribe and a few friends.  Today he released three more videos including “Goat” (above).  So far that brings the tally to six.  Three more will drop each Monday until all thirteen have been seen.

Gold Coin x Argonaut Resins – Stick Up! Third Wave: Skittles (12.23)

SkittlesSide

For the third wave of his Stick Up! resin figure, Three of Gold Coin found inspiration within a rainbow of colors.  Each of the five figures in the ‘Skittles’ drop feature a different flavor – color scheme (Tropicana, Limon, Lemon Head, Booya Berry and Black Berry).  Though they are shown limbless here, rest assured they will be full outfitted with bendy limbs and money bag accessory when they drop this Wednesday, December 23rd  @ Noon EST from the Argonaut Resins web shop.

Emilio Garcia – 2” Jumping Brain

Sales_2_inch_Jumping_Brain_series

Emilio Garcia’s Jumping Brain’s jump to vinyl is getting closer and closer.  Toy2R is showing several of the figures from the upcoming 2” Jumping Brain blind-boxed series. As you might expect from Emilio’s resin releases – RGB and CMYK are represented.  Here’s hoping that the colors are as vivid as seen in this flier.

Lamour Supreme x Itokin Park Collab

The Lamour Supreme x Itokin Park collab is taking form and looking pretty bad ass in the process.  Designed by Lamour Supreme and sculpted by Kazuhiko (Itokin Park), this bat beholder hybrid has a creepy cute look that’s sure to appeal.    Apparently slated as a resin figure, we’re definitely looking forward to seeing more of this one.

Kaijin x One Up – Musyubel Sample

musyu-wood-blog3

Looks like One Up will show samples of what may become one more new editions  of Kaijin’s Musyubel figure at his exhibition which opens on the 22nd at Stitch.  There’s not much info yet, but judging by the pics the impressive paint job is reminiscent of some of One Up’s previous collaborations with Instinct Toy. Digging these – always good to push paint applications and techniques forward. [Seen @ One Up].
