Tan-Ki – KiClear Invasion Series
As part of his recently opened Invasion Toys show, Tan-Ki created thirty-nine 8” KiClear Invasion figures. Color us impressed. Each features his 8” clear figure with wondrous colorful inserted objects including toys (check out the Devilrobots inspired one above), colored bits + more. Tan-Ki’s work exposes yet another facet of the awesome world of art toys. Hit the jump for a few more of our favorites. Be sure to check out his blog post to see all thirty nine. Neighborhood x Disney – Big Bad Wolf and Mickey VCD Set
Japanese apparel brand Neighborhood has teamed up with Disney and Medicom to produce a very nice VCD set – featuring the Big Bad Wolf (9.6”) and Mickey Mouse (6.5”). Set up in seemingly innocent poses (one is, one isn’t…), these carry the Disney charm. Produced in very limited quantities, these are available in both a color and grayscale edition. Recently released, these are definitely worth a look and are available Union and other select retailers.

Fool’s Paradise General Zoo Injury Edition
Whoa. Alan Ng (aka Double Line) introduced the Fool’s Paradise line in conjunction with G999 earlier this year with his Kids figure. Ratcheting things up a notch and turning toward the dark side, Alan has just unveiled the completed General Zoo Injury Edition polystone figure (ed of 27). This one is sick featuring a bloody bisected design – half flesh and half skeleton. The sculpted details and paint on this look to be excellent. The two-halves are indeed removable – they are attached magnetically. In fact, it appears, that General Zoo breaks down into numerous parts – his skeleton half decomposes into at least six pieces or so (see the last pic after the jump). Wild.

Jared Deal x Argonaut Resins – Kanji DIY Blizzard
Argonaut Resins just released all-white Kanji DIY Blizzard figures (5”) from Jared Deal. Limited to 10 pieces, this new drop shows off the shape and detail of Jared’s creation. The figure plus an included bonus grayscale micro print are available for $40 from the Argonaut Resins web shop.
MAD x Fully Visual: Christmas MAD*L Colors Revealed (12.19)
Yesterday we broke the news about the sweet Christmas mini metal MAD*L’s coming from MAD and Fully Visual. In addition to the traditional red edition, there are four more seen above: blue, green, yellow and purple. All Five colorways (10 each) drop tomorrow, Friday December 19th @ 11 AM PST for $99 each from the Fully Visual Store.
Kaijin – CoCo Mischief Devils for Exhibition @ Stitch (12.21)
Japanese artist Kaijin will be presenting a solo exhibition @ Stitch in Tokyo on Tuesday, December 22nd. He will release the first two painted editions of his new CoCo Mischief Devil figure – “white” (above) and “pink”, both featuring those colors over a black base. The pricing on these seems to be in flux and is tentatively set at 7350 yen ($81). Digging these – they have a nice surrealistic quality. Nature with a healthy dose of Kaijin [via Wonderwall].

FERG – Misfortune Cat in the Small x 2
FERG is on a tear. While we await the black editions of his Misfortune Cat from Playge, it appears that we can look forward to the sick feline in both a keychain size as well as 4”. Not formally announced yet, but here’s hoping that happens soon [via Collect and Destroy]

Huck’s dropping bombs today. Since the recently released custom Skullheads flew off the shelves, he’s cooked up 10 custom Gray Skullheads (6.25”). Signed and numbered, these winged mono baddies are available for $700 each – one per customer.
