Rody Exhibition @ PARCO
The Rody Exhibition @ PARCO Shibuya in Japan celebrates the wildly popular and essentially timelesss children's toy. Hop hop. I had something similar as a kid though I'm guessing it was 'clone'. The show runs through December 24th and features numerous artist interpretations of the toy including original paintings, sculptures, and toy customs. The variety of work and aesthetics is awesome to see. Never get tired of seeing pop culture reinterpreted within 'fine art' traditions.

A Look at Deck the Halls
Here’s a look at the slick show setup for Deck the Halls which opened tonight in Hawaii @ Manifest. The custom deck show was organized to raise money to help Kenny Brimer pay for the medical treatments to fight his Leukemia. This is a cash and carry show. Any remaining decks will be up until Monday. No word about online sales.

Marc Nischan & Audrey Pongracz - Circus Mobius (12.12)
LiFT Detroit will present the op ening of Circus Mobius on Saturday, December 12th featuring the art of two Detroit pop surrealists -- Marc Nischan and Audrey Pongracz. The circus themed show will feature original paintings, custom toys and limited-edition prints. Come out for the opening which will include 'circus food' and of course sweet art.
