Tristan Eaton for Primary Flight
Primary Flight brings together an army of graff artists to beautify Miami in their own unique way. The event stretches across pockets of the Wynwood district utilizing a varied supply of legally provided walls. For ‘09 Tristan Eaton of Thunderdog Studios joined in for the massive event. He rocked a dope Black and White mural on the south wall of the Easy Street Gallery (owned by Crome of MSG) on the corner of 35th Street and NW 2nd Ave. Over a paste-up backdrop Tris layered probably the coolest wall piece we’ve seen from him yet (and that’s saying quite a bit). The distinct elements work both as standout highlights as well as a cohesive whole. Love the fauna – owl and various monkeys.
Tris was in good company on this corner. Jeff Soto on the South Wall. Phetus, Den, Sket, and KaNo on the East wall. More pics of Tristan’s mural as well as the others after the jump.

Incubot – Nekobots Designer USB
Incubot, helmed by ToyboxDX’s Alan Yen, is coming out of the gates fast with a lineup that mixes retro Japanese themes with designer flavor. First up – their Nekobots, Japanese Robot designer USB drives.
These are great – and feel more like toys than previous designer usb offerings. They have articulation (head and arms) and a light-up chest plate. They separate at the waist for easy access to their 2 GB brains. The look is just right right down to the old school packaging. Grab the Nekobot leader, Blue 28 ($29.99, below ), or the special Neko “G” 3-pack ($89.99, above) limited to just 30 sets. The black ‘Inle’ Stealth has already sold out, and it’s easy to see why.

Tristan Eaton – Miami Street Signs
The art world stormed Miami for Art Basel this past week. Down to paint a wall as part of Primary Flight, Tristan Eaton also took some time out for some extracurricular activities. Feeling the need to restore law and order, he brought his hilarious and smart street sign campaign to Miami. While some of these have already been seen around Brooklyn, some are new – at least to us. These are a trip – official looking yet so very unofficial messages. In between sign installation, Tris found time for the quick Burger dudes paste up or two. Hit the jump for plenty o’pics.

Dosa Kim – Saline (12.18)
myplasticheart nyc will present the art of Atalanta-based Dosa Kim with the opening of his Saline solo on December 18th (6-9 PM). A talented illustrator and painter, Dosa’s fine art reflects his pointed perspective on society. The black and white brush-like images seen on the flier subtly recall the form of Asian calligraphy as elements of a stylized figurative aesthetic. Very nice work. Check out Dosa’s site and blog to appreciate his considerable range alluded to by the cute deer character atop the ‘Saline’ logo on the flier.
