Incoming: The Bossy by WeKillYou

WeKillYou has been hard at work with their next resin production piece. They have been showing off progress pictures on Twitter and we are very pleased with the final results. The Boss comes from the same series as the Grobold and the Goon and we are noticing a trend with the third eye in this series. We are now waiting on news of the first release, which we hope is soon.

Rotofugi Presents: Jesse LeDoux in Exit Strategy & Veggiesomething in Hell Yeah! Let’s Do It! (11.13)

ledoux vgs_online529

Tonight at Rotofugi will be a two person exhibit featuring the new works of Jesse Ledoux and Veggiesomething. Both artists will be in an attendance and are excited to show you some of their amazing artwork.

First up is Seattle-based Jesse LeDoux. Jesse's got a great almost old-school style that we just can't get enough of. Amazing use of color and line, beautiful contrast and a touch of humor really set Jesse's drawings apart from the crowd. Toy collectors probably know Jesse best for his series "Critter Splitters" produced a few years back by Kidrobot...still some of our favorite blind boxes ever!

Chicago-based Veggiesomething is not only a talented character designer, he's a pretty awesome painter and graphic artist as well...and just happens to be one of our favorite people ever. Look for all kinds of madness (prints and paintings...maybe even some plush) from VGS, who is probably best known in the toy world for his "House of Liu" line produced by Hong Kong's Crazy Label.

The show begins at 7-10PM with entertainment provided by Genghiswon. Come out because it is going to be a great show!

We last touched based on Paul Kaiju’s first ever vinyl figure HERE. Partyball is a character based on PK’s design and is now progressing into its production phase. The very first release of the clear purple Partyball will be at Designer Con on November 21st at the Super7 booth. Paul Kaiju will also be in attendance and perhaps have some surprises.
