4084637784_404f7d3509_o

Sket-One has come up with some very creative ways to turn regular platform toys into everyday items. Whether it be turning a Mad*L into a French’s Mustard bottle or even a Dunny into a Heinz Ketchup bottle. For the upcoming Munnyworld show in NYC, Sket-One created a very rasteriffic custom piece. Turning the Munny into a rhasta color themed Bougarabou. Be sure to get a glimpse of this amazing custom, as well as others on Friday, November 13th at the Eloquent Delinquents Gallery.

Flopdoodle x Switcheroo Holiday Party ‘09 (11.21)

2-DSC_1540-Edit

Flopdoodle and Switcheroo are teaming up for a Holiday Party (flier) with double the fun and double the art.  Featuring the art of Tim Biskup, Amanda Visell, and Michelle Valigura the party goes down on Saturday, November 21st (7-10 PM) @ The Switcheroo Workshop in Pasadena.

The trio have been hard at work creating  holiday awesomeness and cheer for your collecting pleasure.  The main attraction is the limited-edition HelperCentuarEphunt  wood sculpture (ed. of 25), fusing the talents and signature characters of Tim Biskup and Amanda Visell.  Measuring out at roughly 9" high and 8" long, each wood sculpture was created and hand-painted by Amanda and Tim.  We've seen these in person and they look great -- lots of attention to detail here including the Helper feet and hands, the ears on the 'phunt, and the sweet weaponry.   More pics of this one after the jump.

As cool as the HelperCentaurEphunt (can I just call it the HCE?) is, 'tis just the tip of the iceberg (it's in theme, cut me some slack).   Original paintings, ceramic sculptures and more.  Want more pics ?  Check out Amanda and Michelle's twitter feeds -- lots of sneaks. More added daily.
