Ashley Wood x threeA – MK2 Bertie WWRp Sets Preorder Now

The day is here.  The MK2 Bertie WWRp figures from Ashley Wood and threeA are now available for pre-order over at Bambaland.  The figures are only available in two sets -- the 12 pack Dirty Deeds set featuring all dozen of the Dirty Deeds Platoon ($220) and the Adventure Set 7 pack ($220).  Each set comes with 14 total figures -- the Dirty Deeds features the 12 platoon members + 2 WWRp Squares while the Adventure Set features seven Bertie MK2's (Marine, Desert, Dirty Deed Bloody Exclusive, Deep Powder, Medic, Dutch Merc, & the Warbot exclusive) along with seven matching WWRp squares.   Each set will ship in late '09.

Perhaps the highest compliment to be paid to the new WWRp figures is that the detail and paint applications are reminiscent of static war gaming minis rather than articulated vinyl figures.  Impressive.
