If you happened to catch Joe Ledbetter’s live video session with Dailydujour, you saw a very quick look at his next toy project, Terror and Mangus from The Loyal Subjects. Even from those early shots, the large Griffin + lil’ buddy set had the markings of a sweet release.
So we’re stoked to bring you the first full-color shots of Terror and Magnus. Terror is a big ‘un (8” tall, 10” wingspan). Magnus, his companion, stands 3” tall and wields a ‘skull spear’. As you can see, both figures feature Joe’s classic paint style with thick blackout lines. This initial edition is limited to 515 pieces and will drop the 2nd week of November in dynamic window box. A special Europe Edition will accompany Joe on his upcoming European tour and will be available at the 5 retailers on the tour. Very cool.
From the strong design, to the excellent paint application, Terror and Magnus is in our humble opinion one of Joe’s nicest toys to date. Props to Joe and The Loyal Subjects for pushing the status quo to inject a dose of excitement back into the scene.
