HK artist Alice Chan opened her Ties of Love exhibition @ the historic Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong on July 24th. For the first artist crossover with the Peninsula, Alice has created a special line of merchandise from her Asteria brand featuring the themes of love set against the backdrop of the iconic hotel. Alice’s design sense will also be featured in the hotel’s High Tea Service.
For the next three months, Alice will be offering her two new figures – Asteria and Be Right Bear (both are ed. of 50), her new collection, and original art in her gallery space located in the Peninsula’s shopping arcade. She will be painting live daily and unveiling a new painting at the end of each month (August 30, September 30). A portion of the proceeds from the exhibition items will be donated to local charities. Congratulations to Alice on her new high profile crossover project.
