SDCC 09 – Strangeco & Max Toy Co. Booth #4629
StrangeCo will be attending SDCC at booth (#4629) and will be offering special stimulus packages for all attendees! They have a bunch of goodies, including some hard to find Tokidoki, Craola, and Julie West exclusive figures.
Max Toy Company will also have some exclusive and hand painted custo figures at the StrangeCo booth. Some of which were painted by Goto-San of Japan, who has been painting toys for over 4 decades! Mark Nagata will also be at the StrangeCo booth on Thursday, July 23rd from 2-4PM. He will be debuting the all new Neo Eyezon (15 Pcs) by Dream Rockets x Max Toy Co and an exclusive SDCC Kaiju Drazora (15 Pcs). WeKillYou’s Grobold Vol.2 Release (07.16)
The newest from WeKillYou is back for it’s second release. Grobold Vol.2 comes to you in 6 different flavors: Pomegranate Party, Lime Time, Lemon Squirt, Grape Vine, Ocean Spray, and Grapefruit Squish. These bright and somewhat candy like looking figures will be available on Thursday, July 16 at 12PM PST. SDCC 09 – ToyQube x kaNO: Boba-DEF
What better way for a new post for VPeast, than a picture of one of you're latest and greatest figure colorways ever. kaNO’s background check finally went through and we are happy to see him post as a guest blogger on our East Coast sister site VPeast. For his very first post he gives a glimpse of the Boba-DEF figure he will be releasing at SDCC. Limited to 150 pieces with limited quantity available at SDCC. That means anyone not attending the convention has a chance of scoring one. Keep an eye out on VPeast for more posts by kaNO.
Bic Buddy Preview #3 – Marka27, Ritzy Periwinkle, and MAD
Bic Plastics will release their Bic Buddy mini figures this August featuring thirteen artist designs. So far we’ve brought you first looks at six of the Series One designs. Today we’re revealing three more (shown above, l to r) from Bic Buddy Creator Marka27, Ritzy Periwinkle and MAD.
The Bic Buddy series makes use of accessories to add flair to the platform’s shape. We’ve already seen this used to good effect with the wings used in several designs. Now we get the first look at the cape accessory seen here on Marka’s luchador design.
The Bic Buddy minis will drop this August with distribution by DKE Toys (USA) and Pixie (Taiwan).

Kidrobot: Bo0oya Ghosts By Mad (08.06)
Kidrobot gives us the inside on a few of the August releases and what happened to stick out the most was MAD’s newest line of mini series, the BoOoya Ghosts. What once were supposed to be zipper pulls, now turned blind box mini series just because they were too rad! 14 figures completes a set with some all new designs and a few re-done to fit the platform. These 2” figures will be haunting your local vinyl shop on August 6th. Each blind box includes trading car and some of the figures may come with accessories for $7.95 a box. MAD will also be at KR MIA for the opening of his Solo show on Friday, August 7th. The show is entitled “We're All Doomed!!”, where he will exhibit a ton of artwork based on the BoOoya figures.
SDCC 09 – Kuso Vinyl x Jure Gavran’s Urban Criminal Billy
For their 3rd release at SDCC, Kuso Vinyl reveals the Urban Criminal Billy by Jure Gavran. Available at the Kuso Vinyl Booth (#4837) this figure is an edtiion of 250 pieces, but only 75 of them will be at the convention. Billy stands 8” tall and comes with a 3” tall Blamee with spiked collar for only $90.

2Petal Rose – Guerrilla King Pre-Order/Release
2Petal Rose has been had at working with his latest figures. Before the release of the Solider and Snow King, they plan doing a limited piece run of the Guerrilla King. Along with this awesome piece comes a helmet, large lucky bullet, machine gun, bullet belt, stand, and most importantly the Rambo head tie. This piece will be limited to only 15 pieces.
