Scribe x Cardboard Spaceship - Rumpus SDCC Customs
Scribe has been hard at work creating special custom editions of his Rumpus resin figure for SDCC. These will be available at the Cardboard Spaceship booth at the 'con. Vinyl Pulse is going to bring you a preview of two new customs each Thursday until the week of SDCC. So you'll get to see six of Scribe's customs prior to the show with the others as a surprise -- can't spoil all of it, now can we ?
This week we're looking at a tribute to the the King of Pop, the gloved one, Michael Jackson as well as a green 'Skully' custom. As always, Scribe has dropped serious skills on these customs -- check out the details on the rhino's skin, especially on the face. The faux sequin coverings on the MJ tribute piece (hands, plunger) are a very nice touch. Come back next Thursday when we reveal two more Rumpus customs from Scribe.

Pixie x Coarse – TTF Jaws Switch
In the final stages of his life, Jaws Switch emerges from his decrepit barracks and into the unforgiving wild. The military themed Jaws Switch, the latest from Mark Landwehr and Coarse Toys, will be released on July 9th as Pixie's exclusive at TTF. This new Noop stands 13” tall with his shark crown and comes in a high-end cardboard box, featuring an elastic band closure and foam insert which is apparently standard Coarse packaging issue now. It will go on sale on July 9th at Pixie's TTF booth and also for those not in Taipei, on Coarse HKG on July 9th @ 10 AM HK time (7 pm PDT on 7.8) for HK$2200 (~$275) which includes global shipping.
As a companion to the new Jaws Switch, Coarse is also releasing a Jaws Switch Keychain (2.5") on July 9th for HK$80 (~ $10).

Peekaboo SDCC Release- “The Birds”
Peekaboo recently posted up a teaser of an upcoming release for this years SDCC. All we know is that “The Birds” release will be a Hitchcock Exclusive Colorway that is an edition of 8 Pieces with 2 Artist proofs. Hopefully we get to hear more info soon!
