Seen: myplasticheart Presents: Jet-Black & Featherlight New Works By Guy McKinley

Big thanks to Vince (MPH) for letting us use their pictures of the opening reception of Guy McKinley’s solo show at myplasticheart. With that being said, the show had a very good turn out and it looked like Guy had a good time with the attendees. The big part of the show was the unveiling of his upcoming figure Kichi (below). Based on Guy’s popular character he often uses in his artwork,. We are eagerly awaiting more info on this bird holding, weapon wielding, skull-faced female. Our favorite feature would have to be how the head is strategically sculpted to give the illusion of this figure being without a neck. Pieces from the show are now available here through MPH.
