VP is up in the bay area for the weekend for a lil’ toy travelling. Tonight we visited Moscone South for the first night of Wondercon ‘09. The show is considerably smaller than NYCC or SDCC but the silver lining is it’s possible to walk around without carefully planning one’s route around a teeming sea of humanity. While designer toys are not a big part of the show – Rotofugi, Super7, Double Punch and Neon Monster are representin’. Also, Jesse Hernandez is doing his thing as part of the Nutshack crew.
