Bone Marrow Drive for Justin (1.6.09)

Last week we posted about our friend Justin’s need for bone marrow donors to treat his relapsed leukemia.  Here's a quick 'n easy way to help If you're in the SoCal area -- Swindle Magazine along with the City of Hope is holding a bone marrow drive tomorrow -- Tuesday, January 6th from 10 am - 2PM in Atwater.  The testing should be easy and painless -- via mouthswabs, no needles.

Please be aware that by getting tested for Justin, you will be added to the national bone marrow donor registry. When a volunteer registers as a potential donor, his/her tissue type is listed on the donor file and is compared with the tissue type of all patients in need of a transplant. You can withdraw at any time, but keep in mind that you may be someone's only hope for survival.
