Alex Pardee x Upper Playground – Walrus Vinyl

Upper Playground has asked Alex Pardee to design a vinyl interpretation of the brand’s Walrus mascot.  Alex’s design  features one of his angry characters riding atop a rather friendly and almost docile walrus.  Upper Playground sent along pics of the figure in the sculpting stage, some of which feature Alex’s annotations.  Looking good at this stage – especially the crazy ?hair? texture on the rider.  It’s good to see a toy that exploits the benefits of the 3D medium – something we’d like to see a lot more.  More pics after the jump.
