Seen: Bloc28 Series2
Disney unveiled Bloc28 Series 2 on Wednesday evening (11.20) at the Continental Gallery in downtown LA. The new collection feature limited-edition merchandise from the project’s six new artists -- Chaz Bojorquez, Rime, Ewok, Aroe, Suiko and Tenga. Series 2 will feature a couple of art toys created by Japanese artists Suiko (center) and Tenga (right). Both figures are in production from MINDstyle.

Clowns! @ Corey Helford Gallery (11.15.2008)
Corey Helford will open their Clowns! group show tomorrow night – Saturday, November 15th [7-11 PM] featuring a multi-faceted look at these enigmatic yet highly symbolic individuals/characters. Seen: Michelle Valigura – Creation Mutation
It’s been a spell, but we’re happy to finally bring you pics from Michelle Valigura’s Creation Mutation solo @ M Modern which opened back on October 25th. Her wood sculptures are sweet and were well received. Check out all the pics over at dailydujour.
Ajee -- Skullskin Release Party (11.15)
Extended Playz (a Bonustoyz imprint) will drop Ajee's Skullskin vinyl figure this Saturday, November 15th (6 pm) with a release party presented by Arty Dandy @ Galerie Magda Danysz in Paris. So if you find yourself in the city of lights, go meet Ajee and pickup a figure.
If you're not so fortunate, the figures should are available directly from Bonustoyz online shop (gold exclusive + 3 color set). At any rate, def a figure to take a close look at -- refreshingly different.

Frozen Empire's Exclusive Andrew Bell MADL (11.28.08)
We first brought you early pics of Frozen Empire's exclusive MADL designed by Andrew Bell this summer during SDCC. After a few revisions, it's finished and ready to drop. The appropriately chilly figure featuring a frosted/slightly transparent body is limited to 500 pieces for $37.50 each and drops two weeks from now on Friday November 28th, 2008 @ 8 PM EST exclusively from Frozen Empire Toys. Bwana Spoons - Cosmos Killer + Giant Killer
The rainbow master is releasing his new Cosmos Killer (very cool) at Noon today (that's now...) in his online shop. This one's metallic blue with sea green, silver and pink sprays. Plus... it comes with an LE print. Bwana's also apparently releasing a Giant Killer today as well (not 100% on this) -- see below.
RealxHead Store Visit + New Figures
After our painful Thursday (web host issues), we’re back with some Kaiju goodness. VP’s man in japan, Luke Rook, recently visited the RealxHead store in Tokyo. He checked out newly released pics plus two test shots of new RxH figures (above). It’s pretty amazing to see row after of RxH figures when stateside it’s a mad dash to grab the newest releases. No word on when these will drop, but since this is RxH it’ll likely come with little warning.

Huck Gee – New LE Customs
The infamous VP nanobots are up to their usual tricks. They dropped off this pic with almost no info (typical…). We know it’s a new Huck Gee limited-edition custom from a brand new series. More as we get it.
Mechanized & MAD Present Skin Deep (11.21.08)
It’s been a busy year for MAD, being involved with many shows and tons of Mad*L releases. Next weekend in Salt Lake City, MAD and Mechanized are working together for the newest release of Mad*L’s. Looking like a thug coming straight out from central L.A. the Skin Deep Mad*L will make its debut at Mechanized. Not only that but MAD himself will be there signing and doodling. He will also have up for display a few custom pieces and some 2D artwork to stimulate your minds. This takes place on Friday, November 21st from 7-10 PM at Mechanized. If your not lucky enough to be around for this release he gracious folks of Mechanized will also have some Skin Deep Mad*L’s on reserve for those who will be attending Vinyl Toy Network for both days.
