Huck Gee – Gold Life Releases this Friday (10.17)
Huck Gee continues to unfold his Gold Life saga with two new releases set for this Friday (10.17) @ Noon PDT in his eBay store. First as we teased a few days ago, Huck will drop a new Gold Life print – Rooftop Sunset. This dynamic image may be his finest print yet in our opinion. This one measures 12 x 24” (1” borders all around) and is printed on 100% cotton duck canvas (ready to be framed). It’s limited to 80 signed, numbered, and gold embossed pieces and can be yours for $80.
As seen on the rooftops, the striped tiger warriors mean business despite their youth. To compliment the print, Huck will drop ten Red Hand Gang custom Dunnys this Friday @ Noon PDT. Each custom is signed, numbered, gold embossed and comes accessorized as shown. We love nun-chucks (but doesn’t everybody!).

Dylan Sisson – Idle Hands
Dylan Sisson’s art blurs the line between creepy and cute. His first original toy, Idle Hands, is a demon drawn from his paintings. We first saw the figure this summer at SDCC, and we’re happy to say it’s slated for a December release.
The challenge in translating Dylan’s work to 3D is recreating the subtle shading that lends a sophistication to his paintings. As shown above, Toy Tokyo has done a good job with what appears to be some sort of spray fade technique. The sculpt is nicely detailed and exploits the potentials of 3D well with sculpted teeth, multi-level eyes, and ridge detail on the horns and hoofs. At 10” tall, its an impressive piece.
The standard orange colorway limited to 500 300 pieces and the Monochrome edition (100 pieces) will drop this December. The exclusive pink edition will follow at a later date (100 pieces). Look for a pre-order on Toy Tokyo’s online store shortly. Some exploration of Dylan’s blog uncovered an early look at the three colorways (we believe these shots are of hand-painted samples). Wunderland War’s White Tiger Gang Crazy 88 for 1 Cent
![]()
This is one of those news items that we lost track of, and honestly it may be too late to score one of these, but it merits a post nonetheless. Wunderland War just dropped their White Tiger Gang Crazy 88 figure (limited to 192 pieces) . Yes, it’s pretty dope – love the pose and the short samurai sword. This is a variation on the original and I’ll say classic Monkey Assassin toy.
But beyond the figure the really interesting part is the price. 1 Cent ( + S/H). Vinnie decided in the light of the global financial crisis that has people panicked and feeling like they can’t afford anything, he would give away this figure. It’s his way of giving back to those that have supported him and his work in the past, and are simply too strapped to purchase another toy. He also found inspiration in Banksy’s piece “ The Joy of Not Being Sold Anything”. Very cool sentiment plus the figure is pretty sweet. Finally – Kill Bill is still an awesome movie!
