Amanda Visell – Custom Dunnys @ CiRCA (9.5.08)

 

Amanda Visell’s star is rising quickly -- her paintings, production toys, and limited-edition wood/resin pieces  are all in high demand.  What about customs ? They’re cool,  but she doesn’t do them very often at all.   That’s about to change with an exhibition of  eight custom 8” Dunnys this Friday, September 5th 2008  at the Kidrobot Room @ CiRCA in Toronto.    We got a chance to check them out and shoot them a little while back – and in our opinion they look great.   To  start off the short week (yes!), we’re giving you a sneak peek at a few of ‘em – more after the jump.  In case you’re wondering, Amanda will not be there for the opening but she will be in Toronto in a month or so.
