NVC’s Tutankawa: The king of Hierograph

To help ToyQube celebrate its 4th anniversary, Bao and Spive of NVC created Tutankawa: The king of Hierograph – a custom Sharky. Having just dropped Nishikawa @ NYCC, they decided to continue the urban painting theme which compliments the standing pose of the Sharky. To add a dose of fun flavor, they cast the urban art theme with an Egyptian tint – thus the headress focal point has a spray-can shape. As a finishing touch, NVC created a gold-leaf covered mini-pyramid with the group’s initials carved on the three sides.
NVC’s Tutankawa along with custom Sharkys from over 40 artists will be shown at ToyQube’s 4th Anniversary celebration + Sharky show @ the Sullivan Room on 8.15.08 in NYC.
