The wildly successful I am 8-bit group art show, which pays homage to the golden age of gaming, will celebrate its fourth year with the biggest show yet.  This year’s edition opens on Thursday August 14th, 2008 (8 PM – Midnight) with 100+ artists  @ the newly renovated World of Wonder Storefront Gallery in Hollywood.   I am 8-Bit  started the trend of pop-culture art shows – if you’ve never been you need to check it out.  If you have, you just want all the details ;-) 

Curated by Jon M. Gibson and Derek Puleston, the show will feature over 100  artists with diverse styles and backgrounds including  Joe LedbetterScott C.Jim Mahfood, Ashley Wood, Amanda VisellJose Emroca Flores, Luke ChuehBigfoot, Yoskay Yamamoto, Kofie One, Angry WoebotsGerald de Jesus, Tessar LoGabe Swarr, Jorge R. Gutierrez, Carlos Ramos, Joe Vaux, Joe Shea, Benjamin Marra, Deseo, Mr. Jago, Jude Buffum, Michelle Valigura, Suckadelic, DGPH, Jim Stoten, Tanner Goldbeck, Scott Belcastro (above), Tony Mora, Nate Frizzell, Elizabeth Ito, ZOSO, The Chung, Ray Frenden,  and David Goldberg.  

Expect the unexpected including installations from Jason Torchinsky, creator of 2007's six-foot-tall, giant Atari 2600 controller, and Blik Surface Graphics, Eric Kurland, MyTarPit, Nerdcore,  and Palmetto.
