Bwana Spoons @ SDCC

image

Fans of Bwana Spoons have a lot to look forward to @ SDCC.  On Friday  (7.25) @ the Grass Hut booth (#4936)  the Rainbow Master will drop his blind-box Jelly Factory resin series (limited to 50 boxes) featuring Mountaintop, Killer, Mr. Hampstone, Dolly the Dolphin and a secret chase character.  All colorways will be limited to 13 or fewer figures.  Each blind-box will retail for $100 with a limit of 3 per person (one per person if the lines become outrageous).

Bwana’s packed the series full of surprises from chase editions, to customs.  Boundless fun – just the way blind boxes are supposed to be.  And the price?  Ups the ante and the thrills. Check out a pic of the raw/unpainted Jelly Factory characters and a hilariously clever Jelly Factory Treasure map which appears to reveal character ratios and some custom editions.

On Saturday Bwana will drop a brand-new fully painted Globby shown above (a bit of pirate flair, maybe it’s just the striped shirt) at the Gargamel booth (#4739).  He’ll be signing at the booth as well.

Bwana will also drop a few customs per day at the Grass Hut booth. Additionally, it sounds like a completed Giant Killer will be on display and preorders will be accepted.  Finally, in the “maybe category” – potentially a painted Rainbowsaurus resin proto at DKE Toys and perhaps a proto at STRANGEco.
