Tokidoki x STRANGEco @ SDCC

STRANGEco has just lifted the lid on a treasure trove of tokidoki goodness – special edition style. First is the unofficial debut of Bulleto in a special grayscale edition (limited to 250 pieces). Armed with a double-barreled shotgun and accompanied by two shotgun shell friends, Mozarella’s boyfriend comes in a similarly designed milk- carton style window box. The standard edition Bulleto will drop later this year.
Next up, STRANGEco has taken the platinum edition concept first seen with SANDy at NYCC and extended it to the whole Cactus Friends lineup – SANDy, Sabochan, Bastardino, and Polpettina. These look great individually, but even better next together – a nice cohesive mini collection.
Finally, we have news of special silver edition Cactus Pups. In case you’re wondering, yes each of the seven pups will be available in this new luxurious colorway. Plus, pull a gold one and score a special prize. Each of these special editions will be available at STRANGEco’s booth (#4629). Simone Legno of tokidoki will be signing on Thursday, July 24th from 11 am to 1 PM @ the STRANGEco booth.
And, because 'con announcements are always better with a 'mystery' toy... A new tokidoki figure will premiere at SDCC. News soon. Keep watching Vinyl Pulse ;-) See all the tokidoki SDCC specials after the jump.

Vivisect Playset Special Edition @ SDCC
The Vivisect Playset mini-fig series has been out for awhile, so the hardcore collectors have already tracked down all the chases and the separate artist editions. Catching ‘em all is satisfying, yet some how a mild let-down. Here’s news to jolt the adrenalin again – STRANGEco will drop the Vivisect Playset Special Edition set @ SDCC featuring all ten figures (including the three Mugs Bunny types) in brand spankin’ new alternate colorways. The set comes in a deluxe box which folds open to reveal little jail cells housing the ten inmate critters, 5 per side behind glossy windows. Pick it up at comic-con in the STRANGEco booth (#4629). In signing news -- Greg Simkins will be signing at the STRANGEco booth on Friday July 25th from 2 to 4 PM. After the jump – plenty of additional pics.

Switcheroo @ SDCC: Poopicorn & Pistol Pedro Buckle

Over the past few months many collectors (including us!) have been asking about Amanda Visell’s SDCC plans. We’re stoked to be able to bring you the answer first. Here’s what she and Michelle Valigura will drop through their Switcheroo brand at the summer’s biggest show.
Since we debuted her Poopicorn on Proto Monday, “when?” has been on the minds of Amanda’s collectors. The wait is almost over. Amanda will drop her hand-painted ‘Good Poopicorn’ resin sculpture at the show. Sculpted by Julie B., Good Poopicorn is figure #2 (heh) in Amanda’s Zoo Trip series. The good-hearted beast measures 6.5” long and comes with boy, girl, bonus poop (yes!) and ice cream. Limited to 25 pieces, Good Poopicorn will be available for $400 on Friday (7.25) @ 11 AM in the DKE Booth (#4732).
Not to be outdone, Michelle Valigura has teamed up with the metal wizards at Fully Visual to drop a Pistol Pedro belt buckle. Soon to be an adorable plush figure, the Metal Pistol Pedro comes complete with real spinning mustache action and is ready to ‘shoot your pants off’. Get it at the DKE booth (#4732) for $60.
