Touma x Monstock - Nise Destodon

nise_white

The Touma x Monstock Destodon series is a pretty sweet collab featuring Touma's take on  the classic Japanese movie monsters. Next up -- Nise Destodon based loosely on Nise Godzilla ('false' godzilla aka Mecha Godzilla).

As with the regular Destodon's there are two Nise versions -- regular and mini.  The larger Nise Destodon is pretty sweet and seems to feature a newly sculpted head (mecha bits) and two new weapon delivery ports (errr 'hands').  The Mini seems to be a slightly tweaked sculpt (left horn is faceted instead of pointed ?).  Both have a sweet almost prismatic paint job.  We like very much.    Dropping shortly.  Peep the mini Nise Destodon after the jump.

BLObPUS x Ilanena - TTF GID Diablo

d8da029b40ece97256ecc71ef610cb2f

While we are by no means Kaiju experts, we really dig BLObPUS figures.  Why ?  Simple -- they're amazingly creepy.  Kaiju = monsters.  And monsters are supposed to be creepy, right?  BLObPUS delivers creepy like nobody's business.

For Taipei Toy Festival (7.10 - 7.13), BLObPUS will drop a limited GID edition of  his Diablo figure hand-painted by Ilanena.  Wicked -- truly.  Find it at where else but One Up's booth (A13-A14).  Click through for some great close-up shots.
