Custom hand-painted TuDo by Touma
So after yesterday’s post about Touma’s new TuDo figure we were anixous to learn more. Here’s what we’ve learned. TuDo is scheduled to be released as a production vinyl figure from Wonderwall with an estimated release window of July ’08. It measures 9 cm (3.5 inches) at the top of the head and 17 cm ( 6.5 inches) to the top of the horns. Be on the look out for an exclusive Taipei Toy Festival (TTF) TuDo as well.
For this weekend’s TuDo exhibition @ Fewmany, Touma has hand-painted 50 blank TuDo’s. We have shots of several of these customs including the one above (whose shape seems to be nearly identical to the production figure). These will be available for 20,000 yen each (~ $200). Note the variety of horns and noses. While these are strictly customs at this point, it does appear there are plans to vary nose and horns for the production runs.
