Plaseebo for Raiders of the Lost Art

<

Bob Conge of Plaseebo has created three one-off  Indy inspired custom pieces for the Raiders of the Lost Art show opening on May 31st '08.  Inspired by the original movie, Bob riffed off the Plaseebo mummy figure.  Egypt = Mummys baby!  Bob's upped the ante with two  living dead pharaohs  -- there's the Indy Mummy and the raging SS Mummy.  The hand-painted Indy Mummy features a glow-in-the-dark body wrapped in cloth complete with blue glass eyes and a motion-actived LED unit. The SS Mummy is hand-painted in gory red and orange and has GID eyes.

Finally, what's a Mummy without an iconic Sarcophagus.  For the Indy Sarcophagus (above), Bob's taken a vinyl GID sarcophagus and applied a custom paint job with 23k gold leaft paint. Click through for more pics -- including both Mummys, not for the faint of heart ;-)
