The NFL Meets Vinyl - MVPs from Upper Deck

Upper Deck will combine the excitement of the NFL with the appeal of designer vinyl in their upcoming MVPs line.  This new platform series  featuries 32 designs (one for each team) from eight designers -- Jesse Hernandez (USA), MAD (USA), Niark1 (France), Rebel Wookiee (USA), Sket One (USA), Spanky (Thailand), TWEEQiM (USA), and UNKLBrand (USA).The series was curated by TWEEQiM and Upper Deck.  Design assignments were handled in a 'draft' approach to ensure that each artist got to work on a few of his/her favorite teams.   

While production numbers have not been released yet, the series will be limited and is intended for collectors.  From what we see here in this teaser flier (click it above for a much larger image), the designs range from fairly straight-forward to full-on displays of in-your-face graphics.   The vinyl football MVPs stand 8" tall and will be released in waves starting in the Fall just in time for the NFL season. And yes... Upper Deck has created figures for other pro leagues and designers are being scouted.  More info on  VP soon.
