Andrew Bell opened his Burning Desire solo this past Tuesday (3.4.08) @ Gallery 1988 LA with a new collection of paintings, a large number of cool creature drawings, and six test samples of his new The Giver figure. The gallery was nicely setup in a flame motiff with orange and red painted walls and fabric decorations. Certainly a pleasant inferno. At $200 each, the six test samples of Andrew’s orange Burning Desire Giver sold quickly as did the majority of the drawings. Check the show page for available artwork — some nice stuff here.
