SCUD: The Disposable Assassin from Shocker Toys
Shocker Toys will drop an NYCC (4.18 - 4.20) exclusive version of Rob Schrab's SCUD the Disposable Assassin figure. The NYCC exclusive limited to 400 pieces builds on the regular Indie Spotlight version by adding a bullseye base to the 6" figure complete with dual pistols. It 's available now for preorder for $40 and $30 (pickup at the 'con). Check it at the Shocker Toys NYCC booth -- # 962. Maybe a bit pricey compared to the regular version -- but a nice fig.
For the uninitiated, SCUD, the star of his own hilarious indie comic is a robotic assassin-for-hire purchased through a vending machine. Faced with his pre-programmed self-destruction upon completion of his mission, he decides to wound rather than terminate his female mark, Jeff. To pay for her care he becomes a freelance assassin.
