Nakanari & Dave Quiles - Technobabble (3.28.08)

Nakanari and Dave Quiles of Agi Agi   will drop into NYC for the opening of  Technobabble, their joint show, on March 28th, 2008 (6-9 PM) @ myplasticheartnyc. Both artists have been featured in notable publications including Dot Dot Dash and Latex is Fun.  They will showcase their artistic talents with robotic and humorous visions realized as original paintings, limited-edition toys, plush, prints and sculptures.   Well-known to designer toy collectors, Nakanari is best-known for his Misfits of Nakanari toy designs, and numerous customs.  His current work features his original Spiki  as well as his Puffy characters.  Dave "Outta My Mind" Quiles has made an impression with his  imaginative customs and his upcoming hand-sculpted Mirus resin figure.   

Nakanari and Dave will also present collaborations with several of their friends including  Oni and Spider of Agi Agi Studios, Inky (Orlando)  Ano (Taiwan), filter017 (Taiwan), Shon (Taiwan), Chaos(Taiwan), Dreamer(Taiwan), Chobopop (Hungary).  Yayawoo (Malaysia), A.wing (China), John Sousa (Florida) and Nico Lucido (Flordia).
