The colorful and powerful magic of Friends With You, Sam Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III, has been infused into small and shiny talismans with a "Wish Come True". This new mini-figure series from STRANGEco features six high-gloss, brightly colored designs that are just right for kids and kids at heart. The weighted figures, rock and emit pleasant sounds (thanks to built-in bell chimes). The play mechanic is sweet — check out the FWY video demo below. There are six standard characters pictured here — Coco, Fluffy Pop, Malfi, Buddy Chub, Popo and Mr. TTT, and three chase figures still shrouded in secrecy. And to think I had to make do with plain, unpainted wood blocks… The whimsical pic above from Brian McCarty Photoworks will appear in Hi-Fructose #7. The series also includes three as yet unrevealed chase figures.
The Wish Come True series will be sold as blind-boxed "mystery" figures and is designed for children 18 months and up. This magical series will materialize into the world with an official release party (flier) on Saturday February 16th, 2008 @ Yoyamart in NYC. This project also extends beyond the figures themselves. of the Wish Come True characters in a whimsical interactive
