Pevasive Persuasion - Baseman, Biskup and Simone Legno

As part of their Murakami exihibiton, MOCA will host Pervasive Persuasion (flier) -- a panel discussion about Takashi Murakami's tremendous influence on the blending of art and commerce, on Saturday January 12th, 2008.  The panel will be led by Eric Nakamura (Founder of Giant Robot magazine) and will feature three prominent artists whose work transcends the walls of galleries and can be found on a wide range of objects -- Gary Baseman, Tim Biskup and Simone Legno of tokidoki.   The evening will start with the panel discussion at 7 PM, followed by a collaborative art session featuring the three artists, special guests, and attendees. Tickets are $15 for MOCA members and $20 for nonmembers.  Admission includes after-hour viewing of the Murakami exhibition.
