About a week ago we brought you very early shots of Jesse Hernandez’s custom TLATOA Moneygrip for the Get A Grip show opening tonight (1.25.08) @ myplasticheartnyc (6-9 PM). For this one Jesse continues his homage to Aztec art and extends Kano’s original fig with a head piece that bring the pattern up and off the body. In case you’re wondering… TLATOA means "Speak" in Nahuatl, the language of the Aztecs and several other indigenous tribes of Mexico.
